Winsome Winner (Winnie) had her foal by Asher on June 4th, 2009. She is an adorable chestnut and we have named her Ashira.

Asher was the recipient of the prestigious Governor General’s Cup and Lieutenant Governor General’s Cup at the Royal Winter Fair in 2001 and is the only DOUBLE CUP WINNER presently standing in Canada.

At the Royal he also won the CSHA under saddle "Medal Class", his 3 year old CSHA colt/gelding class, and was Senior Champion and CSHA Show Grand Champion.

Asher’s offspring are also doing extremely well. In 2008, for the first time in more than a decade, one horse captured both the Governor General’s Cup and its sister class, the Lieutenant Governor’s Cup. Haute Couture, a Trakehner-Thoroughbred filly, is by the Schickedanz-bred stallion, Asher. It doesn’t come much better than that!
