Reggae’s first foal has been named Isabella who, although chestnut at the moment, will mature as a grey. She is by Ironman, the fabulous 17 hh grey Oldenburg stallion - see below for more information on Ironman. We tried to breed Reggae again to Ironman for a Spring 2010 foal but unfortunately she did not “take” and it was too late in the season to rebreed. We will try again for another Ironman breeding next year, thanks to Nancy Maloney, the most incredibly pleasant and helpful stallion owner.

Ironman is the incredible 17 hh grey Oldenburg stallion. His sire, Inselfuerst, is the second highest scoring stallion ever with 152.96 points. In Ironman’s last full year of showing he placed in 33 out of 38 Open, High Modified and Grand Prixs and over half of those were first or second placings - an amazing record at that level. His offspring have won in Hunters, Jumpers, Eventing, Dressage and Breeding classes and his foals have a 95% Premium rate with many different registries. In fact in 2005, EVERY foal went Premium. He is currently the #1 Hunter Breeding sire in the U.S. In a one year span, Ironman’s offspring have had 8 inspection sire champions with various registries and are winning in Dressage, Hunters, Hunter Breeding, Dressage Breeding and Jumpers.

Ironman’s bloodlines are Hanoverian and Oldenburg and include Inschallah AA, Futuro, Widerhall and Gotthard.
